It's been a very eventful weekend. We had two Christmas parties that we went to. One was for Cameron's work and the other was for our ward. It was good to get out and go to both. The one for Cameron's work we only took Kaitlyn so it was a nice night out without worrying too much about the kids getting into anything. Everyone wanted to hold Kaitlyn so we were able to enjoy ourselves and dance a little too. At the ward Christmas party Santa showed up to visit with all of the kids. Caleb and Mackenzie both were excited to see him. We even had to hold Mackenzie back because she kept trying to run up in front of everyone to jump in Santa's lap. Even Kaitlyn seemed to be having fun with Santa. Although I doubt she had any idea what was going on. She did do good with everyone though. Marlena had fun holding Kaitlyn and is really good with the kids. We like to have her babysit for us. Hilary is with Nicky and Mackenzie. She lives not too far from us and is expecting her first baby. The really cool thing is she also happened to be one of the nurses that took care of Nicky while she was in the hospital with Kaitlyn. We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!!

Early Christmas Present
Grandma and Grandpa Roberts decided they wanted to get something for our new home for Christmas. One thing that we have always wanted was a big lounge sack and that is what we got. It's microfiber so that makes it easy on the clean up. Caleb and Mackenzie can't get enough of it. They love to play on it and especially sit on it with their daddy and read or watch TV with him.

Phoenix Fire Volleyball
Cameron is on a rec league co-ed volleyball team through work. Last night they had a game and won which put them at 5-0. Undefeated and loving every minute of it. Players on his team consist of co-workers and spouses. It's nice to be able to get out and have fun and get to know people from his office outside of work. Nicky is enjoying being out with the kids and supporting the team along with others. It's been a lot of fun playing and building team unity with co-workers.

Bath Time
Kaitlyn likes her baths for the most part. We get a kick out of it because she fits so well in our downstairs bathroom sink. It is nice not to have to bend over to bathe her. We'll enjoy it while we can cause we know it won't last long. She is such a little cutie.

Halloween
Good thing this is not a family picture cause that would be scary. We had a great time this year going out trick-or-treating. We went back to our old neighborhood so our friends could see the kids and there was hardly any kids out knocking. People were giving our kids hand fulls of candy. Both Caleb and Mackenzie ended up with their bags almost full to the top. Caleb had it down pretty good with saying trick-or-treat and Mackenzie was really good at say just treat. Caleb was of course Mr. Incredible, Mackenzie was a Princes, Kaitlyn was a pink bear, Nicky was a ghost, and Cameron was a redneck hick. Overall we had a blast getting dressed up and hitting the doors. Cameron got to dress up at work and no one recognized him. His students that happened to stop by got a good laugh to when he walked out. Hope you all had a great Halloween.

Kaitlyn Marie Roberts
Kaitlyn Marie Roberts was born on Wednesday, October 22nd at 7:10 am. She was 6 lbs 8 ounces and 20 inches long. Both Nicky and Kaitlyn are doing great. Nicky started having contractions around 9 pm on Tuesday night. After they were consistent for a couple of hours we had a friend come over to watch the kids. We went to the hospital and they said she hadn't changed since her appt earlier that day with her Doctor. We had to walk around for an hour and then they checked her again. She had gone from being dilated from a 3 to 5. They admitted her at about 2 am and she progressed till our little girl came. The doctor and nurses were all wonderful. We got a call later that afternoon from our Realtors that our house had funded and that we had a new house too. That night after Nicky and Kaitlyn were asleep I went and picked up the keys and moved our bed over to the new home so she could rest there while we moved. Caleb and Mackenzie seem to be doing really good with their new sister. Caleb wants to hold her all the time and is very gentle. Mackenzie just wants to point at her eyes, mouth, nose and ears and tell us what they are. We have to remind her not to poke her face and be gentle but overall she is doing good.
We have a New Home!!!
Its official, we have a new home. We funded on our home Wednesday and got the keys to move in. We spent the weekend with the help of Nicky's parents and some guys from the ward moving everything over. Saturday some women from the RS showed up and cleaned the house we were in. It helped so much with the move. As soon as we get things organized I will have some updated pictures of the inside.

Friendly Visit
We had our friends Ben and Mickey come into town with their kids. Mackenzie fell in love with Mickey instantly. Mickey and I met up at Ricks College back in 2000 right after my mission and we have kept in touch ever since. It was a great weekend and we had a blast catching up and hanging out. They live out is Rexburg, Idaho right now but can't wait to get out and might end up out this way. In the first picture you can see our little Mackenzie with Mickey, her son Kenyon, and her daughter Mackenzie. It got confusing a for both girls. We had to call them Big Mackenzie and Little Mackenzie. Of course Mickey had a little more fun with it and called them Dark Mackenzie and White Mackenzie. Mickey is married to a white boy and she is so happy cause she got her milk chocolate babies.

House Week 11
We are starting to count down the days till our house is done. This last week was the installation of the carpet and sinks. It is really starting to come along and look like a home. This next week they will be doing the finishing touches and then on Friday we have the pre-walk through. As long as everything has been completed to our liking then we should be able to officially close on the house a week later. Our appliances should be in this week and of course the touch up work through out the house. Both Caleb and Mackenzie had a good time running through the house now that there is carpet all over the place. Caleb has already started to tell us which room he wants. At this point I don't think Mackenzie has a preference. She just likes to hide in the closets.

House Week 10
There weren't too many changes for week 9 so that is why we didn't post anything. This last week a lot was done as you can see. All of the electrical outlets and lighting are in, the vinyl flooring is in and the cabinetry is complete. Nicky was really excited when we stopped by because she was able to see her kitchen and get a better idea of what it was going to look like. They are suppose to do the carpet this week along with some other cosmetic work. The end of next week is going to be our pre-walk through and then on the 10th of Oct. is our closing date. We are definitely counting down and getting excited. The pictures are of the exterior, kitchen, pantry, master bathroom, and the kids bathroom.

First Day of School
So Nicky and some of the other girls in our ward got together and decided to put a pre-school program together. Its twice a week and they rotate where it is at and who is in charge of teaching. They have field trips, lessons, and other activities planned out. Caleb was so excited to start school. He couldn't wait to use his backpack and his new pencils and crayons and other fun school tools. He actually didn't want to leave when it was time to go. Of course we had to take away his scissors already because he was having way too much fun with those. Caleb really loved having Spiderman on his backpack and lunch pale.

Weekend in Twin
This was a great weekend for Nicky and her side of the family. Her brother Derek and her cousin Terrence and his wife flew up from Phoenix, AZ for the weekend. They all drove down to Twin Falls for the weekend and spent most of Friday in the Twin Falls Temple. Nicky's Grandpa Burner past away a couple of years ago and they did his temple work on Friday. Nicky said it was a great experience having so much family down there and being able to link the family eternally. The kids had a great time playing at the part down near Shoshone Falls. Caleb had his fishing pole and got in some good practice and Mackenzie had fun hanging out with Terrence. Cameron had to work all day Friday so he stayed home all weekend and did the solo act. Fortunately he has made some friends in our new ward so was able to kill some time playing video games and watching TRON with Glenn.

Our Little Baby
So we still don't know what we are having and are not planning on finding out. It's been a lot of fun keeping it a surprise. Of course we do have some people wanting to know so they can get things but that can always wait till the baby gets here. The heart beat was good and healthy and it measured good too. Cameron is getting excited to have another little one join the family and doesn't care what it is. Nicole is anxious to get this baby out of her and is starting to get uncomfortable. She has less than 8 weeks to go and hopes to be in the new house before the baby gets here. She hopes to be somewhat settled and have her own place for the new addition.
House Week 8
Family Walk
So we went on a family walk and as you can see Caleb is not in any of the pictures. Trying to get that boy to stay in one spot long enough to take one especially when he is on his bike is not an easy task. Nicky is doing great with the pregnancy and looking good. If you look close enough in the picture of her posing her belly you can see Caleb off in the distance on his bike. He was that far in front of us most of the way. Mackenzie just wanted to ride on our shoulders or walk along with us. She had fun with all the flowers that were out. It was a gorgeous day for a walk so we have to take advantage before Fall sets in officially.

Playing in the Corn Rows
Caleb and Mackenzie had so much fun playing in the corn and hiding. They would chase each other around and hide from us. They even helped pick some of the corn for dinner. Mackenzie wasn't completely sure about it at first but once she noticed her brother running around and having fun she was game. It was actually harder to get her out of there than it was to get her to go in. Being so small was actually to her advantage as she was able to stay below the leaves hanging on the stalks. Caleb just had fun running through them as fast as he could, hiding, and of course chasing Mackenzie around.
